What is the JEC Canadian business competition?
The JEC Canadian Business Competition (JCBC), hosted by the Junior Economic Club of Canada (JEC Canada), is an exciting in-person case competition for high school students in the Greater Toronto Area. Taking place on March 22nd, 2025 via Zoom, JCBC offers participants the chance to solve expert-designed business cases and present their solutions to a panel of industry leaders, professionals, and academics. Teams of 3-4 students will compete in a fast-paced format, with 8 minutes to present and 2 minutes for judges' Q&A. The top three teams will be awarded based on creativity, analysis, and presentation skills. Best of all, registration is free! Event Format & How to Register
The JCBC competition kicks off with teams of 3-4 high school students receiving a business case 24 hours before the event. On March 22nd, 2025, teams will present their solutions in 8 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A with a panel of expert judges. The top three teams will be awarded based on creativity, analysis, and presentation skills. Registration is free and simple: team leaders must complete the registration form by March 1st, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST using the link below.
